Local chef, NJ Lim and her team are throwing a party, and you’re invited! This massive neighbourhood festival is a chance to celebrate all things delicious in the Hawkesbury, outdoors with friends and family. Set at Gretchen’s Organic Pecan Orchard on the banks of the Hawkesbury river, NJ will be teaming up with local growers, producers and artisans to bring you the very best this area has to offer in an autumnal flavour fest.
We’re swapping white tablecloths and glassware for a bohemian market style!
Think picnic rugs and cushions under the stars. Smokey, roasted local meat and live music around a bonfire. Imagine kids toasting marshmallows in the embers while you meander around a pecan orchard resplendent with fairy lights, sampling the best of the Hawkesbury directly from the local growers and producers.
At each market stall you’ll find
Spit roasted pork
DIY burger bar - build your own sliders with artisan chutneys, relishes and condiments
Sourdough pizza and danishes
Vegetarian sushi prepared for you by a sushi chef
Stir fry glass noodles for you lovely vegans and vegetarians
Handmade vegetarian steamed dumplings
Elisi Grove Extra Virgin Olive Oil
If you’re still hungry at the end of the night, it’ll be your own fault! Gluten and dairy free people will find plenty of options to choose from.
As this is a special community event, The Farmer and The Chef wants to make the tickets a very special price. Adults $89 and kids under 12 $39
BYO drinks and a picnic blanket or camping chair
The party kicks off at 5pm, wear something warm and comfortable
